Totemo was engaged to develop a social media content series for a leading superannuation provider, designed to increase engagement with financial topics that are often perceived as complex and uninteresting.
Grounded in audience insight and social media behaviour, we identified an opportunity to reframe dense financial information as clear, relevant and easy to understand within fast moving social feeds.
The campaign translated traditionally technical subjects into a series of short form animated videos created specifically for social platforms. Concise storytelling, intuitive visual metaphors and motion led explanations helped simplify unfamiliar terminology and make key concepts immediately accessible.We developed a cohesive animation style and content framework that balanced credibility with approachability, allowing each video to function as a standalone educational piece while contributing to a consistent visual system across the series.
The result was a social first content program that transformed complex financial information into engaging, digestible storytelling, helping the brand communicate with clarity in a category not typically known for capturing attention.
